The Run

- 5 Minutes - Cooldown: 0% grade; 5 minutes at <4.0 mph;
Synopsis
- Upshot: Feels like a workout!
- Downside: Downhill is jarring and it's snowing.
- What I'm most proud of: My heart is handling the hills better.
- What I would do differently: Eat something light before heading out.
Overall
Still sticking with base training, and with my new levels, I couldn't be happier! I feel like I'm getting a decent workout without anaerobic spells which means that I can go longer and farther. The only thing is, I'm tired. I get home, and between the cold air, the wind, the snow, and the fact that I'm running up and down hills, I'm spent even after a mere 3.5 miles. I bet I wouldn't feel so rough after running 3.5 miles in 70 degree F weather, would I? Brrrr …
