Distance and/or Time: 3.66 miles, 40 minutes
Speed and/or RPE: 5.5 mph, 5 (somewhat hard)
HRR: 143-173 (Aerobic)
The Run
- 5 Minutes - Warm-up: 0% grade; <5.0 mph.
- 30 Minutes - Intervals: 0% grade; 1 lap at 5.0 mph; 1 lap at 6.0 mph.
- 5 Minutes - Cooldown: 0% grade; 5 minutes at <5.0 mph;
Synopsis
- Upshot: Convenient location (work to workout to work)!
- Downside: BORING!
- What I'm most proud of: That despite my flu and a horrific "dropping the kids off at the pool" episode only 20 minutes before, I still resolved to do a light run.
- What I would do differently: Take some form of entertainment (Sam or an MP3 player).
Overall
Got flu starting Sunday night. Full-swing chills and fever come Monday. Explosive diahrrea even through to today (UGH!). Still feeling run-down and crummy, but dying to workout. Laying in bed is painful!
