Overall
Doot doot, don’t really want to be here … that little voice in my head kept saying stuff like, isn’t it time to go? When will I be done? It’s only been 20 minutes? Whine, whine, whine. But I have to admit, I really wasn’t quite into it today. I’m a little more mentally tired than usual. I’m feeling physically frustrated. (I’m sex-deprived, too.) Makes for an unhappy bodily system, I fear. The force is not strong with this one, today. More like my balance was off. It’s been a week since I last swam (can that be right?) and I can certainly tell. My cardio was fine, but my stroke and rhythm needed work. Since I’m in town and less than a block away from the gym for the next 5 days, I’m planning on going to Masters Swim on Friday morning, but I’m afraid that Preben will kick my butt with so much more than I can actually do. Or, I just might surprise myself (and him) and do quite well. I really don’t know. I do know that I feel as though my stroke has improved and that I’m more streamlined, but I don’t really think I’m any faster. I’m just more … efficient. I just hope I won’t have to do sprints on Friday morning–those make my head hurt.
